Luke Loves Soccer

Luke is a sportsman. He loves athletics. He wants to play every sport you can think of. It was hard for me to convince him to play soccer again this year because in his words "I already played that." Ryan played sports growing up, but did not have the passion for it like he did for other things...such as newspaper and yearbook. But the competitiveness is still there.

I played soccer a little but that's about it. Neither one of us could care less about sports now...unless we know someone playing. Even then it is not a big deal. I only know it is the NBA playoffs because I spent the weekend with my brother-in-laws. Go Jazz. To us the Superbowl is an excuse to have yummy food and spend time with friends and family.

Spring soccer started a couple weeks ago. His team has a great coach and they have already grown a lot as a team. They have not done super well as of yet, but tonight they won 7-0. He made a goal and Ryan caught it on video. He is in orange, #7 and is wearing navy blue pants and orange long sleeves.

Notice the not once, but twice reenactment of the goal and the competitive little move at the end of the video. He likes to win. It runs in the family.

Congrats Little Brother!

My baby brother Carson got married on Friday. He married the sweetest girl, Lindsey. She is fun and sarcastic, about a foot shorter then him, and rolls with the crazy in the Smith family well. We are super excited for them to be together and a part of our lives.

They were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on Friday. Their reception was in Pocatello on Saturday. The WHOLE family was there and it was a P-A-R-T-Y. Of course we had a million pictures from the 3 day extravaganza. (of course. we are unable to celebrate ANYTHING in just 1 day)

The photos are having a hard time loading so here is a link to see some pictures if you want!

Soft, White and Fluffy

Normally when I hear those words I expect to wake up to snow covering the lawn, cars, trees and rooftops in my neighborhood. When I looked out the window this morning several more descriptive words were used to descibe what I saw.

No proof as of yet, but yesterday Ry "Officially" finished the Yearbook. Sounds like a reason to celebrate to me!

A tisket, a tasket

We spent the weekend at my parents house in Pocatello for Conference/Easter with all the cousins. ALL THE COUSINS. It is not but a few times a year when we are all in the same room together. Considering there are 18 kids...half under the age of 4, it is a lot of fun and a lot of commotion. We usually "hunt" for eggs outside in the huge yard but the weather did not cooperate well this year so we headed indoors to our local church gym. It was fun to be able to have room for them to run and play without freezing their little hands!

Here they are (well some) anxiously awaiting everyone to arrive so the fun can begin!

Showing off their loot.

Once Clark realized that he was picking up candy, he didn't care about picking it up anymore...he just wanted to eat it.
